My best friend and I decided to go to Disneyland Paris for the day and it was great, but here are a few tips for any thrill-seeking adults who wish to go to Disneyland Paris too.

So, the Disneyland park is absolutely beautiful. It has the castle and lots of colourful artistic things to look at. There were lots of the characters roaming around such as Stitch, Mickey, Buzz, Pluto and a few more, which is super fun. There is also a meet and greet with the Princesses so it would be a wonderful place to take a little girl to if she liked the Disney princesses as much as I once did.

The rides themselves in the Disneyland park were disappointing though. This park is definitely designed with small children in mind only. We went on a train (think it's called big thunder mountain) wow, just wow, there was no big and no thunder, it was just awful as there was nothing to see but fence and woodland. The rest of the rides there were specifically for children, except for Space Mountain (which was AMAZING) and Buzz lightyear's laser blast was fun, interactive and I loved that you could spin yourself around. The 'its a small world' ride was very aesthetically pleasing but definitely one for the little'ns.

So, after feeling like Will Ferrell in Elf, and too big for almost everything we went on, I asked a lady that worked there what was age appropriate for us and she told us to head over to Walt Disney Studios. We did and my goodness, it was AMAZING. We went on 'The twilight zone: tower of terror', 'RC Racer', 'Studio tram tour', and'Crush's Coaster'. All of which were amazing - I love a ride that has speed and makes my belly flip and they all did that. I have been to Thorpe Park, Terra Mitica, and Alton Towers on numerous occasions and seriously, these rides blow all of the rides in those parks out of the water.

We then ended the day in the Disney theatre and it was an absolutely marvellous show. Hosted by Mickey mouse, it had all your favourite Disney characters and their songs and lots of dancing and effects. It was like a west end musical with all your favourite people. We sat there watching in absolute awe, pleased with ourselves we chose such an amazing thing to end our day on such a high!

Disneyland is amazing. If you plan on going with a child, I'd say go to the Disneyland Park for sure but, if you're a thrill-seeking ride fanatic like myself and not a full Disney head I would suggest going straight to the Walt Disney Studios park. They played Annie songs and had rides based on films I actually knew and rides that will blow you away, literally. I would say it is far better suited to an older crowd so you get much more bang for your buck.
