FITNESS DIARIES: MY FIRST SPIN CLASS


Today I had my first spin class. Well, I did go to a spin class when I was about 16 years old but it wasn't at all like this one. I actually L-O-V-E-D this class, it was so enjoyable and I am learning why people sincerely enjoy the gym!

Our instructor is fantastic, everyone is lovely and the music gets you in the 'exercise' spirit. If you were ever/ still are a clubber then this is definitely the class for you as it's like being in a club, a healthy club! It's dark, they play club music and everyone is getting sweaty and downing their drinks haha.

You go through a mixture of exercises on the bike standing up, and what feels like peddling while squatting, chest presses and much more. It works your entire body, not just your legs, which is fabulous. I find led classes really helpful because the instructor shouting to go faster, keep going, and/or pick it up, is all the motivation one needs.

I would definitely recommend bringing at least a litre of water to this class as you will need it. Wear light clothing as you get SO hot - I literally sweat like never before. Most importantly, enjoy it! It's so much fun!

    1. I would definitely recommend it! I did it again today with a new teacher and although he had a different style, I still absolutely loved it! You may be able to find it on youtube somewhere if you can get to a gym? My gym partner always watches youtube videos as she works out! I hope you had a lovely weekend lovely Liuba xox
